Biography

I am currently on the CUAA Council, the CUAA Communications Committee, and the Nominating Committee, and served on the Gano Dunn Award Committee for the past two years.  I have been a patent lawyer with McDermott Will & Emery for the past 23 years.  I have authored numerous articles on patent law, and was an author of the annually published Patent Applications Handbook for 10 years.  I have also been a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, and worked as a chemical engineer for a couple of battery manufacturers after graduating from Cooper.  While attending Cooper Union, I was the Student Banker, where I was in charge of disbursing funds for student activities and keeping and balancing the books for the student activities bank accounts.  When my children were younger, I coached several sports teams (soccer, baseball, roller hockey), and was a Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and Venture Crew Leader.
