Anna Brook BSE’04

Running for: Secretary & Nominating Committee

Campaign Statement

I am honored to be nominated for CUAA Secretary.  I am the current Secretary and if elected I will continue to ensure smooth communications and organization within the CUAA Council, and to advance engagement with the alumni community and outside of Cooper Union.  I will also assist the newly elected President with the transition.

My brother (ChE ‘13) and I both benefitted from Cooper Union’s free tuition and I am dedicated to providing future generations of Cooper students the same opportunity.  As a result, I serve on the CUAA Executive Committee and seek to maintain a positive working relationship between the CUAA and Cooper Union.  I also spearheaded the creation of the Alumni in Law affinity group in 2019 to engage alumni, provide networking opportunities, and encourage fundraising.  I have served as the Secretary for several years and if elected, I will continue to manage CUAA Council communications, be available to members to relay information or concerns, and work to increase alumni involvement.
