  • Joel O. Lubenau 1960! is one of the co-authors of “Radium City: A History of America’s First Nuclear Industry” which is a book describing the Radium production in Pittsburgh. Western Pennsylvania History Magazine has published this book.

  • Yash Risbud EE’92 has been honored by Congressman Josh Gottheimer as the Pasqack Valley Chamber of Commerce 2019 Citizen of the Year.
  • Leonardo Drew A’85 has been selected as the keynote speaker for the 29th International Sculpture Conference: “The Multifaceted Maker,” which will be held October 12-15, 2019 in Portland.
  • Real Estate Developer Silverstein Properties, funds a new artist residency at 3 World Trade Center that will host 30 artists every September for up to eight months, providing them with 44,000 square feet of free studio space on the 50th floor of the building. Applications are open through July 31.

  • David Molloy A’87 will be demonstrating the potter’s wheel at Ceramic Supply Inc, on Route 46 in Lodi, NJ on Saturday, July 13th from 10AM to 3PM. Alumni are encouraged to drop in.

  • Meredith Bergmann A’77 was on CBS Sunday Morning, 5/25/2019, in a video segment titled, “Remember the Ladies.” CBS celebrates the efforts springing up all over the country to memorialize more women in statues.
  • The CU Motorsports Team Selected Officers for the 2019/2020 school year. They are: Yuval Philipson – President ; Raymond Choi – Project Manager; Enea Dushaj – Chief Engineer
