Campaign Statement

Every end of calendar year around the time of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I reflect on people, experiences, and accomplishments for which I am immensely grateful. Upon this reflection, the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art is always on top of this list granted Cooper made me a more talented professional, curious intellectual, thoughtful and caring human, and technology and engineering visionary. This is why in partnership with my employers, I make sure to give back to Cooper in the form of a matched donation to accelerate Cooper’s path back to free-tuition programs for the gifted, hard-working, and intelligent youth. Since being an undergraduate and graduate student at Cooper, I have made sure to organize social events that would unite the student body to alumni who have the desire to mentor and guide ambitious minds for career opportunities and help catapult their journey towards a rewarding future.

I want to run for the Cooper Union Alumni Association to democratize the use of data to broadcast the positive impact of donations across every class year, every major, and every school. Furthermore, I would like to actively and proactively energize the Cooper Union brand and run marketing campaigns to ensure we add some serious swag and continue to elevate the prestige of our alma mater. And most importantly, I want to make sure all alumni across the nation and the globe are enthused and honored to be part of events where they could warmly network with other alumni, students, and professors and leadership. We have to be committed together to ensure Cooper Union students and alumni are positioned to thrive in this new age of information.  I would like to develop a forum for alumni to exchange feedback with professors to help supplement courses, catalyze research opportunities, and launch entrepreneurial programs to produce future leaders who could shape and ride the next wave of rapid innovation in technology and engineering marvels.
