Anna Brook BSE’04

Running for: Secretary

Campaign Statement

I am honored to be nominated for CUAA Secretary.  I am the current Secretary and if elected I will continue to ensure smooth communications and organization within the CUAA Council, and to advance engagement with the alumni community and outside of Cooper Union.

My brother (ChE ‘13) and I both benefited from Cooper Union’s free tuition and I am dedicated to providing future generations of Cooper students the same opportunity.  As a result, I serve on CUAA Committees that are integral to fundraising (Annual Fund Committee), alumni engagement (Communications Committee), and maintaining a positive working relationship between the CUAA and Cooper Union (I am chair of the MOA Committee).  I also spearheaded the creation of the Alumni in Law affinity group in 2019 to engage alumni, provide networking opportunities, and encourage fundraising.

I learned a lot in the past year as the Secretary and plan to use that knowledge to grow and improve in this role.  I will continue to manage CUAA Council communications, be available to members to relay information or concerns, and work to increase alumni involvement.
