Fellow Alumni,

Please mark your calendars for the showing of Jay Myself, which tells the incredible story of photographer and artist Jay Maisel A’52, a living legend whose home for nearly 50 years was the six-story, 72-room, 100 year-old landmark building at 190 Bowery. Directed by Jay’s protégé Stephen Wilkes, a fellow accomplished photographer, the film tells of a bygone New York City and the Herculean task of boxing up a lifetime of memories.

The film will open at NYC’s Film Forum on July 31st and run through August 13th, with special Q&A shows with filmmaker Stephen Wilkes and Jay Maisel in attendance throughout the first week.

We would be appreciative if you could share information about the film’s opening with students, friends, colleagues, and fellow lovers of photography.
